aim'n launches automated warehouse solution, increasing capacity for Black Week.

The rapidly growing sportswear brand aim'n is on a successful journey and is stepping up with its largest investment ever: a new headquarters and an associated automated warehouse at E6 in Getinge, just outside Halmstad, Sweden.

We are very pleased to finally be in Getinge and go live with our new warehouse solution. With the new warehouse, we are expanding our space, and thanks to the automated solution,, we feel more ready for Black Week than ever. We have experienced significant growth in recent years, and the new facility immensely increases our capacity. Now we can more easily scale up our operations and expand our range even further. We look forward to delivering even faster and better service to our customers," says Anders Gustavsson, head of logistics at aim'n.

The 6,000-square-meter warehouse is certified according to the Silver level of the Environmental Building standard issued by the Swedish Green Building Council. The warehouse has a ceiling height of 10 meters and is partially powered by solar panels with the capacity to produce 100,000 kWh per year. Sustainability has been a focus throughout the project, including signing an environmentally classified and origin-labeled electricity contract from Varbergs Energi, offering 100% renewable electricity.

The new warehouse is fully automated with an Autostore solution from Element Logic, including 16,000 bins, 22 robots, and 6 operator ports, intended to serve  customers worldwide.

"We wanted to continue developing our business from our hometown. Getinge is a good location for us, with visibility towards one of Sweden's busiest highways and proximity for logistics companies. We have worked extensively with local actors throughout the project, including MTA as the general contractor and pallet racks from Halmstad-based AJ Produkter," says Anders Gustavsson.

The investment is also a crucial piece of the puzzle for bringing the entire workforce under one roof. In addition to the modern logistics facility, 2,000 square meters of office space are also being built on the same site.

"We see significant advantages in being and working together between teams and believe that it is in personal interactions that magic happens. We look forward to bringing together the entire team from both the office and warehouse in early 2023 in Getinge," says Anders Gustavsson.
